Can I get broadband without a contract?

Each new WiFi standard brings speed gains, no contract broadband without landline, but it can also provide other advantages or other functionalities.  WiFi 6 notably improves the ability of routers to handle many more devices connecting at the same time.  A few years ago there were few WiFi devices in the home setting, but today it is not uncommon to have more than 20 devices requiring a wireless internet connection.  From security cameras to smart speakers to streaming players, everyone is vying for a piece of WiFi ... and broadband. In summary, all devices connect to WiFi first to access the broadband router and it is the broadband router that connects them to the internet.  Both are needed to access websites and anything on the Internet, such as videos, music, and podcasts, messaging, etc.

But can we really imagine doing without Wi-Fi, in view of all the technological advances that are emerging? As with fiber, this access to the Internet by a wired network is talked about as being a technology benefiting from an ultra-fast speed that overcomes that of ADSL. Or 5G announced for 2020 at the latest, even faster than 4G.

Even with all the prowess that this “update” of Wi-Fi affirms, broadband without phone line no contract, it is difficult to think of it as a substitute because it only allows the transmission of information in one direction.
